“A roof vent for an upstairs bathroom in my home was replaced by Shake Experts. The replacement required access to the attic. Due to a family member’s medical condition, the times when someone would be at home was limited but Shake Experts worked closely with myself to make the repair happen during a date and time that worked for both parties. The vent replacement went smoothly and any questions that I had were completely answered by the Shake Experts technician. A strong wind after the installation revealed a noisy backdraft damper in the new vent. On the next work day (Monday), I called Shake Experts about the noise and within hours the same technician came to my home and fixed the damper noise. The timing of this follow-up visit worked out well because it fit in with my limited available time during the rest of the week.
This vent replacement was the third job that Shake Experts completed on my roof in the past 10 years. Each time, the work was properly completed in a timely manner and their staff completely addressed all of my questions or concerns. Thank you!”

“After this past winters’ harsh weather, a few of my neighbours and I got to talking about maintenance on our aging treated pine shake roofs. But like all big home maintenance projects, there were a lot of questions. Who could we trust to do the job and do it right? What would be a fair price? When could it be completed? Well after much deliberation, we contacted Shake Experts. Inspections were completed and detailed written quotes were sent the following day. In my case, a problem that had haunted me since our house was built and that had supposedly been fixed 16 years ago, was identified by the gentleman (Romar) who conducted the inspection. An action plan to deal with this was presented and it actually made sense! With the neighbours in agreement, contracts were signed and a tentative start date was provided. Low and behold, two crews arrived to start on the 4 roofs a couple of days ahead of schedule. Waste bins were positioned so we were not inconvenienced and the crews headed by Sandro and Romar, were on the roofs working within 30 minutes of arrival. Materials were delivered and placed to maximize productivity and minimize inconvenience. Both Sandro and Romar and their crews worked long hard days in hot, hot weather with minimal breaks and completed all 4 roofs in just 4 days. Cleaning up late each evening and rotating the waste bins in and out as needed. No mess, no fuss. Sandro and Romar were both true professionals, keeping us all informed throughout the process. Upon completion I was shown pictures of the repairs specific to my roof and advised that there would be before/after photographs accompanying my invoice from head office. The invoice arrived the next day with the pictures and the price I had been quoted was the price on the invoice. I was so impressed with Shake Experts that I made a point of going to their office to pay my invoice and meet with the owner, Chris, and to let him know how pleased we were with the project, the employees and the company itself. From the office staff to the inspector, the installers to the delivery drivers, everyone involved with Shake Experts has my respect – A real first class organization! My warranty papers along with a copy of the invoice marked paid arrived soon after my visit with a simple personal message telling me to call if I ran into any problems. I know I will continue to call on Chris and the Shake Experts to maintain my roof for years to come.”
